My journey into photography began a long time ago, 15 years before I picked up a camera. I started out as a Makeup and Hair Artist working on sets and styling weddings, and I always found myself starring dreamy-eyed at the photographers. I was so mesmerized by how much could be created with a camera that we miss with the human eye. I secretly dreamt about becoming a photographer every time I saw one.

Eventually, I saved up and bought my first camera. The choice to embark on this journey felt like a rebirth that ignited a new creative fire that has only grown larger over time. I am always learning, taking classes and will always continue my education in photography for the duration of my career.

Working with people is my favorite part of the process. I love the type of intimate connection you get through the camera. I love the way light helps to inspire a feeling.
